THE BEAM is a brand created and distributed by TEMPO, a company committed to redefining safety and design in the world of cycling accessories. Our mission is to empower cyclists to ride smarter, safer, and more confidently — whether they’re urban commuters, road cyclists, or weekend riders.
In a world where cycling is booming but safety remains a challenge, we’ve positioned THE BEAM as a premium yet accessible brand that puts innovation, functionality, and aesthetics at the heart of every product.
Our flagship product, the VIRGO urban helmet, is the result of years of development. It’s one of the first full-face urban helmets on the market, equipped with integrated MIPS® technology for brain protection, a magnetic visor system, rear LED brake lights, and urban-ready styling. Launched recently, VIRGO has already sold over 5,000 units across Europe — a strong indicator of its resonance with modern riders.
Alongside the helmet, we’ve developed best-selling accessories like the CORKY and CORKY URBAN rear-view mirrors, which discreetly integrate into drop bars or flat handlebars. These mirrors offer both visibility and elegance — a rare combination in the bike accessory space.
We work closely with industrial designers, engineers, and select factories to develop original products, avoiding white-label strategies. Our focus is on building long-term brand value through product quality, creative marketing, and direct customer feedback.
THE BEAM follows a hybrid business model:

D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) via our Shopify-based ecommerce site, where we engage directly with customers across Europe.

B2B (Retail & Wholesale) with a growing network of retailers and distributors in France, Germany, and other key European markets.
Our products are currently retailed through carefully selected partners who share our values and positioning. We support them with visual content, product training, and pricing policies that protect margins and ensure consistency across channels.
With TEMPO handling logistics, production, and strategy, and THE BEAM growing as a recognizable brand in the urban mobility space, we’re now expanding our product line with smart accessories — such as digital rear-view cameras, hands-free kits for helmets, and connected lighting systems.
More than a cycling brand, THE BEAM is a design-led safety movement, focused on making the roads more comfortable and intuitive for everyone on two wheels.
As we grow, we aim to continue launching limited, high-quality collections, prioritize meaningful partnerships, and expand our retail presence without compromising our identity.
